Community Circles & Co is a youth-led grassroots nonprofit in the South Metro of the Twin Cities. We create safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive spaces for youth and families through community engagement, leadership development, wellness, and violence prevention.
Community Circles & Co was founded in 2025 by Roda Ahmed after witnessing the growing need for safe spaces and positive opportunities for young people in the South Metro. Following experiences with community violence and seeing its impact on youth and families, the organization was created to bring people together through recreation, dialogue, wellness, and service. What began as small community gatherings has grown into a youth-led movement focused on prevention, connection, and real opportunity.

We primarily serve East African youth, families, and broader communities throughout Dakota and Scott Counties, while welcoming people of all backgrounds. Our programs focus on youth ages 7 to 24 and their families.
Community Circles & Co operates under the fiscal sponsorship of FMW Nonprofit Solutions, which makes donations tax-deductible while we build long-term nonprofit capacity.
